Dice Run Fundraiser

The Blue Knights Motorcycle Club of Lawton is joining forces with the Specially Made Penguins Club, Inc of Duncan to host a Dice Run on Saturday, May 13, 2023. The goal is to raise money to support current and future plans for the organization. Specially Made Penguins (SMP) is a club for children and adults with special needs who want to learn new skills and build self-confidence as well as develop interpersonal relationships with others. The club was formed in 2019 and has a very active swim team. One member, Kearsty McCoy, is going to Germany in June as a swimmer for the US Special Olympic Team. Kearsty is one of four female swimmers to represent the US and one of only two Special Olympic athletes selected from Oklahoma to be a part of the US Special Olympic team. 

In the very near future, SMP is hoping to add additional activities, including a Corn Hole Team, that would also compete in Special Olympic events. Plans do not end there, because SMP would also like to host cooking schools, art parties and other social activities for the people we serve. The Poker Run will begin at New Hope Baptist Church parking lot at 9 a.m. with games, vendors and food available until 5 p.m.
