Downtown Duncan Carnival will have rides, including a ferris wheel, bumper cars, a merry-go-round and more. Along with that, seven food trucks will make an appearance and non-profits will occupy spots onsite to offer snacks and drinks throughout the event, all for a family fun-filled night.
Setup will begin on Walnut Avenue and extend from 7th Street to 10th Street with carnival rides and food.
The Chisholm Trail Poker Run will approach the finish line on this carnival weekend from 1-6 p.m. Saturday with the carnival opening up for the final day around 6 p.m.
The poker run starts out at Car Quest, at 2nd and Main, where riders can register and receive their first card. Registration is $20 and an additional card is $10. At the final stop, riders can buy a mulligan for $5.
The poker run will make their second stop at Kochendorfer Brewing Company, third stop at Lakeside Grocery, fourth stop at Old 81, ending eventually on Main for the final tally. Main Street will have prizes available for the best hand and worst hand, including goody bags and door prizes.
