Get ready for a doggone good time Saturday at the 14th annual Bark in the Park sponsored by the Stephens County Humane Society.
Pets, pet owners and spectators will be able to enjoy tail-wagging fun from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fuqua Park, with a number of contests, food trucks, vendors and games. Not only does Bark in the Park raise awareness for the Humane Society, all proceeds go toward paying for daily operations at the shelter.
The Humane Society will also have several dogs on site available for adoption. Bark in the Park creates an opportunity to get those dogs out in the public, where they can capture the heart of the right family.
