Military service organizations from across Stephens County will honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in a special Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 29 at noon at Memorial Park, located on the west side of highway 81, north of the Earl P Halliburton Memorial in Duncan.

The ceremony organized by the Stephens County Honor Guard and jointly hosted with AMVETS, VFW, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), the American Legion will recognize those lost in each of the five military branches, as well as the Merchant Marines and POW/MIA through the posting of military service flags, laying of memorial wreaths, a rifle volley tribute to all past military members, TAPS, and remarks from Representative Marcus McEntire and Senator Paul Scott.
